This is Slade Boihem's story...

Slade is a 4 yr. old boy with severe hemophilia A Factor VIII deficiency. On Friday, May 18th he was diagnosed with Leukemia--Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

How it began...In March of this year Slade began having severe nosebleeds. They would start like turning on a faucet. Which was not uncommon to his hemophilia except they were more intense and hard to stop. Click here for the rest of the story!

This is Slade Boihems' page at Louisiana Hemophilia Foundation. A lot of you know Slade because he is part of our hemophilia family. Now Slade has leukemia and needs your support even more.

He and his family are in Memphis, TN at the Ronald McDonald House. Slade is being treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. When Slade had  to cut his hair he got a mohawk, showing his spirit to fight leukemia. A lot of his family and friends got a mohawk too.
