The LHF Commitment to Privacy
The Louisiana Hemophilia Foundation (LHF) respects the
privacy of every individual who visits our Web site,
www.louisianahemophilia.org. This
notice explains our online information practices, and to make it easy to
find, links to it are posted conspicuously throughout the Web sites.
Additionally, each page that requests personally identifiable information
reminds you of the importance of your privacy and provides a link to the
privacy policy. By visiting the Web sites, you accept the practices
described in this notice.
Information Collection and Use
LHF is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not
sell or share your information to others outside of LHF.
LHF collects data from visitors to the site via various
registration forms. Completion of any of these forms is optional. The
information that is collected via the form is entered into the LHF database.
The visitor will be placed on a list to receive LHF email communications (medical advisories, notices of importance to the bleeding disorders
community, and others), as well as occasional communications by regular
mail. Visitors who do not wish to receive communications from
LHF have the
opportunity to opt out at any time. Form completion also allows visitors to
register online for specific events, make donations online to LHF, and
either join LHF or renew membership.
At no time is the personal information collected from a
visitor shared with any individual, company, sponsor, vendor, organization,
or other entity outside of LHF.
Links
LHF's Web sites include links to other online resources. LHF is not
responsible for the privacy practices or information on other sites. We
encourage our visitors to read the privacy statements of every Web site they
visit.
