More information about Annual Meeting June 20-22, 2008 Registration Text Box: It's almost time for Camp Wounded Knee! Get your Camp Applications Here! July 13-18, 2008 Registration  Camp Wounded Knee is being held from Sunday,July 13 through Friday afternoon, July 18th in West Monroe, LA. All of the traditional camping activities will be provided, including archery, horse back riding, canoeing and paddle boating and a day at a local attraction, in addition to bleeding disorder education and related activities. Our Hemophilia Treatment Center Staff will be present the entire week and will be providing medical care to all children throughout the week.   LHF has been providing Camp Wounded Knee summer camp since 1978 at no charge to the camper's family. All funds are raised through fundraising activities, grant writing and donations. Transportation is provided on a 55 passenger Calco Bus both to and from camp which gives the children a chance to visit with an old friend or make a new friend before getting to camp and saves the parent/guardian time and expense.   If you have a child with a bleeding disorder, male or female, between the age of 6 and 16 that would like to attend summer camp please complete the attached camp interest form and mail it or fax it to the LHF Office. Once the form is received a full camp application and more specific information about camp will be mailed to you to complete and return to LHF.    Once your full camp application is received your child will be officially signed up for camp and we will stay in touch with you regarding transportation details and other important camp information.   We look forward to hearing from you very soon and to providing your child/children an excellent and very enjoyable camping experience.     Text Box: 10th Annual Shoot for a Cure will be held March 7, 2009 Hunter's Run Gun Club  Mark your calendars!
